Heating System Controls and Wiring:
We have our own electrical contractor for larger scale electrical work, however AquaGas Plumbing & Heating can undertake small electrical works related to your heating system and plumbing. This can include the wiring and/or replacing of electrical components. For example boilers, cylinders, thermostats, programmers, heating pumps, shower/mains booster pumps, zone valves, electric showers and more!
Heat Pump Installations
The rising cost of energy bills is leading to the increasing demand for heating and hot water systems that are fuelled by renewable energy sources. We are qualified in both air and ground source heat pump installations in addition to the design of low temperature systems. We also install underfloor heating and are G3 qualified to be able to install the unvented cylinders on the system. We are Gas Safe Registered so can install any gas boilers to any hybrid systems. Converting to heat pumps is a project we can undertake start to finish, to the high standards set out by MCS. We are MCS registered to give you piece of mind.
Heat Pump Servicing and Repairs
Heat pump problems or heat pump maintenance required? AquaGas engineers can fault find and repair efficiently keeping homeowners and tenants cosy and warm in the winter months! We also offer heat pump servicing.
Hot Water Storage Systems
We Install both direct and indirect water storage cylinders, depending on both your personal and your home needs. We are G3 qualified which enables us to work on unvented systems as well as unvented water heaters. We are able to offer annual services on your unvented appliances, as recommended by manufacturers. We also do gas water heaters which fall under our Gas Safe qualifications.
Heating System Design
Whether it’s a new build, full renovation of an entire heating system or part renovation of your property, for example designing your bathroom, we’re the company to call! We can size and design your entire plumbing and heating system including low temperature systems for heat pumps. We can design your bathrooms and show you life-like images of how it will look, using our CAD design software.
Heating System Flushing
AquaGas can provide flushing services for either maintenance work or to help rectify issues such as heating blockages. We offer a variety of different flushes to include power flushing, magna cleanse flushing, thorough flushing and more.
Gas Safety Certificates & Checks
If you rent your property out or you plan to rent it, you are legally required to have a valid gas certificate that confirms all of the appliances in the property are safe to use and fit for purpose. If you are using a rental agent, they will need to be provided with a copy of the CP12 – Gas Certificate before they are able to move new tenants in. AquaGas Plumbing & Heating regularly carry out these checks to keep you compliant.
Gas Appliance Installations, Service and Repair
Gas can be extremely dangerous and you must ensure you always use a Gas-Safe registered engineer. We are Gas Safe registered and after undergoing the correct training, we can install, upgrade, service, and maintain your gas appliances to a high standard. We are qualified in:
- CENWAT (central heating boilers and water heaters
- CKR1 (cooking appliances)
- HTR1 (fires and wall heaters)
- MET1 (primary and secondary meters)
